How ZERO+ works
1. We install Tesseract Edge
A professionally installed Tesseract Edge computing system is added to your property.
You don’t need to buy it, configure it or operate it.
Tesseract installs and manages it.
2. We connect it with your energy system
Tesseract Edge works alongside your solar, battery and Tesseract energy platform.
Our technology coordinates energy use while keeping the needs of your household the priority.
3. We add battery capacity where required
Some ZERO+ homes may need additional battery storage.
We’ll assess your existing solar, battery, electricity use and connection and determine the right setup for your property.
4. We connect high-speed internet
ZERO+ requires fast, reliable connectivity.
Eligible properties will receive suitable high-speed internet as part of their ZERO+ service, subject to network availability.
5. Your home joins the Tesseract network
Your Edge system connects securely with other Tesseract Edge systems.
One home provides a small amount of computing capacity.
Hundreds or thousands working together create something much bigger.

If your property is approved, we’ll explain the installation, benefits and ZERO+ terms.

FAQ
What is Tesseract ZERO+?
Tesseract ZERO+ combines your home energy system with high-speed connectivity and a professionally managed Tesseract Edge computing system. Your home becomes part of both Tesseract’s Virtual Power Plant and distributed AI computing network.
What could I receive with ZERO+?
Eligible single-phase or three-phase homes are expected to receive a $100 monthly electricity credit, while eligible three-phase homes are expected to receive $200 per month. High-speed internet is also expected to be included, subject to eligibility, network availability and final ZERO+ terms.
Will the Tesseract Edge system increase my electricity bill?
No. In fact, eligible ZERO+ customers are expected to see a significant reduction in their electricity costs.
The Edge system does use electricity, but Tesseract manages its energy use through the ZERO platform, battery storage and Virtual Power Plant.
At the same time, eligible customers receive a monthly electricity credit
Will ZERO+ slow down my home internet?
No. ZERO+ is designed to provide a faster, higher-bandwidth internet service for eligible homes. The Edge system uses the connection it needs to communicate securely with the Tesseract Virtual Data Centre while remaining separate from your normal household systems.
Is the Tesseract Edge system noisy?
The Edge system requires cooling, but it is being designed for residential environments. Expected external noise will be similar to, or lower than, a typical residential air-conditioner outdoor unit, depending on the final equipment and installation location.
Do I need to already be a Tesseract ZERO customer?
Not necessarily. ZERO+ is primarily designed for Tesseract ZERO customers, but you can still join the waitlist if you are not currently with ZERO. If your property appears suitable, Tesseract can assess your home for ZERO and ZERO+ together.
